Welcome, Whatever You Are

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This policy explains what information the game Welcome, Whatever You Are (“the game”) handles and why. The game is developed and published by G2GO (“we”, “us”). If you have any question about this policy, write to support@g2go.site.

In short: we do not run our own servers, we do not show ads, and we do not use analytics or tracking. The game's online features and purchases are provided by Epic Games. Your saves stay on your computer.

1. Your Epic account

When you start the game from the Epic Games Launcher, you sign in with your Epic Games account through Epic Account Services. With your permission (the consent screen shows exactly what is asked), the game receives your Epic account ID and display name, and, if you allow it, your friends list and online presence. They are used only to show your name in the game, to let you invite friends and join their sessions, and to deliver what you buy in the game. You can withdraw this permission at any time from your Epic account settings (Apps and Accounts).

2. Online co-op

To host or join an online session, the game uses Epic Online Services lobbies and peer-to-peer connections, relayed by Epic when a direct connection is not possible. For this, Epic processes an identifier for your copy of the game (a product user ID), the session code and the game version. If you play without an Epic account (for example, a copy started outside the Epic Games Launcher), Epic Online Services creates an anonymous device ID instead, together with the player name you typed.

The other players in your session see your player name, your character and what you do in the game.

If you host a session by address on a local network or over the internet instead, the game may ask your router (UPnP) to open a port, and the players who connect to you can see your IP address, as with any direct connection.

3. Voice chat

The game has proximity voice chat between the players of the same session. Your voice is sent live, through the session's host, to the other players, and played back on their computers. It is not recorded, not stored and never sent to us. You can use push-to-talk or turn your microphone off in the game's settings, and mute any player on your side.

4. Purchases

The game sells packs of in-game money through the Epic Games Store. The payment is handled entirely by Epic Games: we never see your card or payment details. The game receives a record of what you bought (an entitlement) so that it can add the money to your in-game wallet and mark the purchase as delivered.

5. Data saved on your computer

Your campaign progress, settings and in-game wallet are saved in the game's folder on your computer. They are not uploaded to us. You can delete them at any time by deleting that folder.

6. What we do not do

7. Epic Games

Epic Games provides the store, the accounts, the online services and the payments. Their processing of your information is covered by the Epic Games Privacy Policy.

8. Children

The game is a horror game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Because we do not store personal information on servers of our own, most of it is held by Epic Games, and you can manage it from your Epic account. For anything else, contact us at support@g2go.site and we will answer.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
